From the picture of resveratrol (Resveratrol), which is a phenolic compound found in the skin of red grapes and mulberries. It has a variety of mechanisms of action and has a beneficial effect on various systems in the body as follows:

1. Anti-cancer effect (Anticarcinogenic & Anti-neoplastic)

Resveratrol inhibits the birth and growth of cancer cells in several ways:

Inhibits the activation of toxins: inhibits the Metabolic Activation process (both Phase I and Phase II), causing carcinogens to be unable to act.

Anti-gastric cancer: inhibits DNA synthesis of cancer cells (Gastric adeno carcinoma), inhibits normal cell death (Apoptosis) and inhibits pKc group of enzymes that promote tumor growth.

2. Antioxidant Activity

Resveratrol is a powerful antioxidant:

Stimulates protective enzymes: Helps increase levels of Glutathione Peroxidase, Glutathione S-transferase and Glutathione reductase, which are the body's natural defense systems.

Maintain good fats: Helps prevent the destruction of polyunsaturated fatty acids. (Preservation of PUFA)

3. Effects on the cardiovascular system (Cardiovascular Effect)

Reduce platelet aggregation: Helps reduce Platelet Aggregation, which reduces the risk of blood clots.

Protects the heart: Helps reduce damage from ischemic reperfusion damage and reduces bad fat oxidation (LDL oxidation).

4. Anti-inflammatory and anti-arthritis effects (Anti-Arthritis)

Inhibits enzymes and proteins that cause inflammation, such as COX, LOX, and NF-kB, which are the main causes of pain and inflammation in joints.

5. Anti-diabetic effect (Anti-Diabetic)

Stimulates the activity of Sirt 1 (Histone deacetylase), which requires NAD+. Sirt 1 plays an important role in regulating energy balance and increasing sensitivity to insulin.

6. Enzyme Inhibitor

Acts to inhibit enzymes that produce free radicals such as Superoxide dismutase, Lipo-oxygenase, and Peroxidase, as well as blocking the activity of PDE (Phosphodiesterase).

Short summary: Resveratrol works holistically. Focusing on "reducing inflammation, antioxidants and protect cells" from degeneration and various toxins
