Protective effect of resveratrol on PM2.5-induced damage in human neural stem cells (hNSCs) and alleviation of PM2.5-induced mitochondrial dysfunction.

Resveratrol could effectively reduce the neurotoxicity and mitochondrial dysfunction induced by PM2.5 in hNSCs. The protective effect against PM2.5-induced toxicity in hNSCs within a 3D biological model highlights the translational potential of this study. These findings highlight the potential of resveratrol as a therapeutic agent against environmental neurotoxins and the development of neuroprotective strategies.
