Effects of resveratrol on mitochondrial biogenesis and physiological diseases
Review
Effects of resveratrol on mitochondrial regeneration and physiological diseases.
Abstract: Plants produce a variety of bioactive compounds that are beneficial to health. Resveratrol, a polyphenol produced by plants, has many beneficial health properties. This includes its ability to stimulate the production of mitochondria and combat health problems such as obesity, inflammation, heart disease, cancer, etc. Mitochondrial dysfunction is considered a key factor in the pathogenesis and development of many diseases. Therefore, this review explains how resveratrol (RSV) can combat physiological and age-related diseases/disorders by affecting the formation of mitochondria and their function. We also discuss its chemical composition. main source and the amount of resveratrol That has been shown in previous research to be effective in preventing and treating various diseases. With the ability to correct abnormalities of the mitochondria. Resveratrol can thus be used for the prevention and/or treatment of human physiological diseases. This review provides new hope for the treatment of physiological diseases. as it provides a useful future perspective for planning clinical studies on resveratrol. and diseases related to mitochondrial dysfunction.
