Resveratrol (RES), a naturally occurring polyphenol that occurs in some plants, has been used. It has the potential to prevent and treat various types of cancer. Resveratrol also helps reverse the negative effects of chemotherapy. In addition, resveratrol It can modulate cancer cell death and cancer cell autophagy is the main form of cancer cell death. by targeting various signaling pathways and up/down regulation of apoptotic and autophagy genes. This review summarizes the anticancer effects of resveratrol. and focuses on the basic mechanisms and targets for modulating cancer cell death and cancer cell autophagy by resveratrol.
