PM2.5 dust particles in the atmosphere are considered a risk factor for respiratory disease. However, the mechanism of injury is not well understood. and methods of protection are in great demand. We created artificial PM2.5 particles based on the size and composition of real PM2.5 collected in Beijing. By using these artificial particles We created an animal model of injury from inhalation of these PM2.5 particles, the physical and chemical characteristics of actual PM2.5, and inhalation of PM2.5 in mice resulted in changes in the lungs. This indicates decreased lung function. Oxidative stress injury and inflammation in the lungs. Therefore, this animal model of PM2.5 injury may mimic lung injury in humans exposed to airborne PM2.5 particles. Additionally, we found that polydatin (PD), a resveratrol glucoside, Significantly reduces the oxidation potential (OP) of PM2.5 in vitro. Treatment of model mice with PD prevented the decline in lung function induced by PM2.5 and reduced the level of oxidative damage in mice exposed to PM2.5. Additionally, PD inhibited the inflammatory response induced by PM2.5, as evidenced by a decrease in white blood cell (BALF), an inflammation-related lipid. and inflammatory cytokines in the lungs These results provide practical ways to protect yourself from air pollution containing pm2.5 particles.
