Chemoprotective effects of resveratrol in preclinical colorectal cancer models with different genetic drivers.

Chemopreventive effect of resveratrol in preclinical colorectal cancer models with different genetic drivers

Abstract: Previous reports indicate that resveratrol can modulate multiple processes and targets of colorectal cancer (CRC) cells and animal models. But it is unclear whether or not these effects will translate to humans, especially colon cancer cells, which are the primary target for prevention with translation of effective preventive agents into clinical applications. improvement 3-Dimensional organoid model with discrete mutation drivers (Apc, Apc+Kras, and Braf) An early representation of the various subtypes of CRC is the aim of this thesis. Another aim was to evaluate resveratrol in these models. and examine in more detail the ability of resveratrol to block the development of mutation-driven cancers.
